3 Terrific Young Men

In this photo, are 3 of the best Greenwich Stars basketball players in our history – left to right: Sam Ptashnik, Brandon Harris and Tristan Joseph. Sam and Brandon were captains of the 2015 Greenwich Stars 12U Zero Gravity National Championship Team. Sam plays basketball for Harrison (NY) High School and Brandon plays for Hamilton High School (Elmsford, NY). Tristan stars for the Brunswick School Basketball Team (Greenwich, CT). Sam, Brandon and Tristan are all starters on their high school teams. They are good students, they volunteer their time to help others and they are terrific young men. Sam, Brandon and Tristan continue to come back and hang out with our younger players. They are true STARS and part of our Greenwich Stars family (always).

Play SPRING basketball with the Greenwich Stars.

FREE Greenwich Stars Spring Basketball Tryouts are on: January 14, 15, 16 at Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT). For boys and girls ages 6-16 from all towns

There are 2 Options for Spring Basketball with the Greenwich Stars (see below). We have teams that fit busy schedules in the Spring (see the below options):

** Spring AAU Tournament Basketball Team:  Games are on Saturdays/Sunday in the Spring. Local Games. Little Traveling. 2 Practices a week. Tournaments are on 1/2 the Spring weekends – leaving you time to do other activities on many Spring weekends. Your child can play in the famous Spooky Nook Tournament (at the world’s largest indoor sports facility). Your child will also have the opportunity to play in the Zero Gravity National Basketball Championships in Boston. Note: The Greenwich Stars are 3 Time Winners of the Zero Gravity National Basketball Championships.

** Spring Travel Team: Games are on Fridays – not Saturdays/Sundays. No Traveling. 1 practice a week. Games are on Fridays at Carmel Academy in Greenwich vs other teams in the region. The Friday game schedule leaves the weekends free for other activities.

SPRING Basketball Season: March 25 – June 9. The Greenwich Stars have 2 great locations: Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT) and The Solomon Schechter School (Hartsdale, NY). The Greenwich Stars’ players are from 38 towns in New York and Connecticut and are the largest and most successful basketball organization in the region.

Professional Coaches: No Parent Coaches. No Politics.
