Terms of Use

Effective date: August 20, 2026
Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Raybin Management, LLC, the operator of Greenwich Stars (“Greenwich Stars,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of https://www.greenwichstars.com/, its online store, registration and contact functions, and related online services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Site”).

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. The Site is intended for adults, including parents and legal guardians of youth participants. You must be at least 18 years old to register, purchase, sign, or otherwise transact through the Site. If you act for a participant, you confirm that you are the participant’s parent or legal guardian or otherwise have legal authority to act for that participant. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

1. Operator and Contact

2. Eligibility and Adult Authority

The Site’s registration, purchasing, waiver, subscription, and contact functions are intended exclusively for adults. Youth participants take part in the basketball programs; they are not the intended online users and do not become parties to these Website Terms merely because an authorized adult registers them. You may enter into a transaction through the Site only if you are at least 18 and legally able to form a contract. When you provide information or act for a minor participant, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the participant’s parent or legal guardian or have other legally sufficient authority to act for the participant;
  • The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete;
  • You have authority to provide the participant’s information and to make the choices you submit; and
  • You will not ask a child to complete an adult-facing Site function or share your login or signing credentials with a child.

A minor cannot accept these Terms, register, purchase, sign a waiver, subscribe, or submit personal information through the Site on the minor’s own behalf. If you are under 18, ask your parent or legal guardian to act for you.

3. Additional Program and Transaction Terms

These Terms govern use of the Site and online transactions. A particular program, product, order, or payment service may also be subject to the description and conditions shown when you register or purchase, a participant agreement or waiver, a code of conduct, facility or league rules, or third-party provider terms. You are responsible for reviewing all terms that apply to your transaction or participation.

If these Terms conflict with a more specific program or transaction term, the more specific term controls for that subject. These Terms do not themselves provide medical authorization, grant media permission, authorize recurring charges, or release participation-related injury claims. Our Privacy Policy governs our handling of personal information.

4. The Site and Services

The Site provides information about Greenwich Stars basketball programs, tryouts, teams, leagues, camps, clinics, training, schedules, facilities, coaches, merchandise, gift cards, and related offerings. Availability, eligibility, schedules, rosters, locations, coaches, formats, and content may change. A Site listing is an invitation to register or purchase, not a guarantee of acceptance, availability, team placement, playing time, results, or uninterrupted operation.

We may correct errors, update information, limit quantities or capacity, refuse or cancel an order or registration, discontinue a feature or offering, or require additional documentation where reasonably necessary. If we cancel a paid transaction because of our error or inability to provide the purchased item or offering, the remedies in Refunds, Credits, Cancellations, and Schedule Changes apply.

5. Registrations, Tryouts, and Team Placement

Program eligibility may depend on age, date of birth, grade, gender division, skill, evaluation, capacity, conduct, prior commitments, and other disclosed requirements. Registration or payment does not guarantee selection for a competitive team, a particular roster, coach, division, schedule, position, number of games, or amount of playing time.

You are responsible for reviewing program dates, location, eligibility, prerequisites, fees, equipment, travel expectations, and other disclosed conditions before registering. You must promptly tell us if registration information changes or is incorrect. We may request reasonable proof of age, guardian authority, eligibility, or payment, but you should not send sensitive identity documents through an ordinary contact form or email unless we provide a secure method and explain why the information is necessary.

A registration is complete only when we receive the required information, payment, and any separately required agreements or authorizations and then accept the registration. We may maintain a waitlist, move a participant between appropriate groups, or decline a registration based on eligibility, capacity, safety, conduct, or program needs, subject to applicable law.

6. Fees and Payments

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You agree to pay the displayed price, applicable taxes, and any clearly disclosed charges. By submitting a payment method through an enabled payment provider, you authorize that provider to charge the amount shown at checkout. Payment providers—not Greenwich Stars—ordinarily receive and process complete payment-card, bank, or wallet credentials. Their terms and privacy notices also apply.

You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. We may delay or cancel a transaction if payment is declined, reversed, disputed, suspected to be fraudulent, or otherwise not completed. Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the issue. Nothing in these Terms limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.

No offering automatically renews unless the checkout clearly and conspicuously states the renewal interval, amount or pricing method, cancellation method, and other legally required terms before you authorize payment. If an offering includes recurring charges, your separate express authorization and the disclosed cancellation process control.

7. Refunds, Credits, Cancellations, and Schedule Changes

Unless a program page or written offer expressly states otherwise, or applicable law requires otherwise, registration and program fees are final and are not refundable, returnable, or exchangeable after purchase. No refund is ordinarily provided for a missed tryout, practice, game, class, camp day, or event; voluntary withdrawal; dissatisfaction with team placement, role, coach, schedule, or playing time; or removal for a material conduct or safety violation.

If Greenwich Stars cancels an entire paid season or program before it occurs and does not provide a reasonably comparable substitute, our ordinary remedy is a credit toward a future Greenwich Stars offering. We may choose to issue a refund. If only part of an offering is affected, we may provide a substitute date, location, coach, format, remote option, prorated credit, or other reasonable adjustment. These provisions do not eliminate any refund, cancellation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Weather, facility availability, public-health conditions, safety concerns, league or tournament decisions, staffing, enrollment, transportation, force majeure, and other circumstances may require schedule, location, coach, team, opponent, format, or program changes. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes using the contact information supplied at registration. You are responsible for monitoring program messages and keeping that information current.

8. Merchandise and Gift Cards

Product images, colors, dimensions, and availability are estimates and can vary. We may limit quantities, correct pricing or description errors, substitute an equivalent item with notice where appropriate, or cancel an unavailable item. Shipping estimates are not guarantees. Title, risk of loss, returns, defective goods, and other product rights are subject to the terms shown at purchase and nonwaivable law.

Gift cards and credits may be used only as stated when issued. They are not redeemable for cash except where law requires, may not be resold or used unlawfully, and can be suspended if obtained or used through fraud. Any expiration, inactivity, refund, or replacement rule is subject to applicable gift-card law.

9. Conduct and Safety

Participants, parents, guardians, and guests must follow applicable safety rules, facility rules, coach and staff directions, codes of conduct, eligibility rules, and laws. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, violence, discrimination, bullying, unsafe play, disruption, dishonesty, misuse of participant information, unauthorized recording in private areas, and interference with staff, officials, participants, or other families.

We may deny access, remove a person from an event, suspend participation, or terminate a registration when we reasonably determine that conduct creates a safety, integrity, legal, or material operational concern. Any effect on fees is governed by the disclosed refund policy and applicable law.

Athletic participation involves inherent risks. A participant may be required to accept a separate program-specific participant agreement addressing those risks and other participation requirements. These Website Terms do not themselves release Greenwich Stars from liability for participant injuries or waive a minor’s legal claim.

Website descriptions, coaching information, and general safety material are not medical advice and do not replace evaluation or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact emergency services.

10. Communications and Electronic Signatures

By providing adult contact information in connection with a registration, order, or request, you agree that we may send necessary nonmarketing communications about that transaction, schedule, location, participant, safety issue, policy, or support request. Ordinary email and text messages may not be secure. A telephone-number field alone is not consent to receive automated marketing texts.

You may stop marketing email using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional, program, safety, or legally required messages. If we seek consent for marketing text messages, we will present the applicable terms and consent separately.

You consent to receive agreements and records electronically when you transact online. When you click an acceptance button or box, type your name where a signature is requested, or apply an electronic signature, you intend that electronic action to have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by law. You may save or print the applicable documents before submitting.

11. Accounts and Information Accuracy

If an account function is offered, you must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law. We may require password changes, suspend access, or use reasonable verification measures to protect the account and participants.

12. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, and legitimate business with Greenwich Stars. You may not:

  • Impersonate another person, misrepresent guardian authority, submit false eligibility information, or use another person’s payment method without authorization;
  • Submit another child’s information, image, health information, or contact details without appropriate authority;
  • Attempt to access another user’s data, account, order, form entry, administrative area, system, or network;
  • Introduce malware, probe vulnerabilities, evade access controls, interfere with operation, overload the Site, or use the Site to distribute spam;
  • Scrape, harvest, crawl, index, copy, or extract Site content or personal information through automated means except for ordinary search-engine indexing authorized by us or as law permits;
  • Reverse engineer, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, consent, access, payment, or rights-management features;
  • Use Site content, participant information, or contact details for unrelated advertising, solicitation, profiling, surveillance, or artificial-intelligence model training; or
  • Use the Site in a way that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights or violates law.

13. Intellectual Property

The Site and its text, graphics, designs, photographs, video, logos, trademarks, schedules, compilations, software, and other content are owned by Raybin Management, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes related to Greenwich Stars.

You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, frame, mirror, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission, except as law permits. “Greenwich Stars” and associated logos and branding may not be used to imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without permission.

If you believe Site material infringes your copyright or another intellectual-property right, send a notice to info@greenwichstars.com identifying the protected work, the material at issue and its location, your contact information, the basis for your claim, and your electronic or physical signature.

14. Information and Content You Submit

You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit, such as feedback, a testimonial, photograph, or video. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested Site or program function, comply with law, or use it in the manner covered by a separate media or promotional authorization. This license ends when the purpose ends, subject to lawful retention, backups, and material already distributed under a valid authorization.

You represent that you have the rights and authority necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not upload content identifying another child without that child’s parent or legal guardian’s authority. A general content submission does not replace a separate participant media release.

Feedback about the Site that does not contain confidential information may be used without restriction or compensation to improve our offerings, but we will handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Services

The Site may link to, embed, or integrate services operated by others, including payment providers, social networks, maps, calendars, videos, email services, anti-spam tools, and advertising or analytics providers. Their services and processing are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. A link, embed, or integration does not necessarily mean we endorse all third-party content or practices. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent service except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information and describes available privacy choices and rights. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the Site or submitting personal information.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GREENWICH STARS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE CURRENT OR COMPLETE.

We do not guarantee team selection, playing time, athletic improvement, a scholarship, recruitment, admission, competition results, or any particular outcome. Coach opinions, evaluations, schedules, rosters, statistics, and Site content may involve judgment or change. Nothing in this section disclaims a written promise in a specific accepted order or a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAYBIN MANAGEMENT, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM ARISING SOLELY FROM THE SITE OR AN ONLINE TRANSACTION WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC ONLINE TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability to the extent arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or bodily injury where applicable law prohibits the limitation. These Website Terms do not determine liability for athletic participation or purport to waive a child’s claim; any participation-related agreement is separate and remains subject to applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or damage limitations. In that event, the provision applies only to the maximum extent permitted, and mandatory consumer rights remain in effect.

19. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Raybin Management, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, damages, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, material violation of these Terms, content you submit in violation of another person’s rights, fraudulent payment activity, or material misrepresentation of authority to act for another person. This obligation does not require you to indemnify any person for that person’s own negligence, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

20. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate Site access, an account, or a transaction if you materially violate these Terms, create a security or safety risk, engage in fraud or abuse, fail to pay, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to comply with law. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a curable issue. The effect on a paid registration is governed by the disclosed refund policy and nonwaivable law.

You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnity, dispute terms, and lawful record retention.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere, the state courts located in the Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk and the federal courts serving Fairfield County, Connecticut will have exclusive jurisdiction over a dispute arising from these Terms or the Site, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing a claim, you and Greenwich Stars agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written description and requested resolution to the contact information below and allowing 30 days for a response, unless immediate relief is reasonably necessary or a limitations period would expire. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to participate in a class action where such a right otherwise exists.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. The updated version will state a new “Last updated” month and year. Changes apply when posted or on a later stated date, but will not retroactively change an already accepted material transaction term without notice and any new assent required by law. We may require you to accept materially revised Terms before a future registration, purchase, or continued account use.

23. General Terms

Force majeure. Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, facility closure, epidemic, government action, labor disruption, utility or network failure, transportation disruption, war, terrorism, or natural disaster. This does not eliminate payment or refund rights that applicable law requires.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the Site or relevant business, subject to applicable law.

Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. A waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific instance stated.

No third-party beneficiaries. Except for persons expressly protected by the liability and indemnity provisions, these Terms do not create rights for a third party.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any specific terms presented for a program, product, or transaction are the entire agreement concerning the Site and that transaction. They replace prior discussions on those subjects but do not replace a separate participant agreement, waiver, or facility rule that applies to participation.
