We are the Greenwich Stars

The Greenwich Stars Basketball Organization began 8 years ago. We’re the largest and most successful youth basketball organization in the region. We started with one eighth grade boys team from Westchester, NY and Fairfield, CT counties.  Our very first team won a championship and the amazing growth began from there (we’ve now won 3 ZG National Championships).  Our doors are never closed  —  12 months a year our basketball organization features AAU Spring teams and Fall and Winter Travel teams, and year round leagues, clinics and group and private instruction. Our players are from 38 towns in New York and Connecticut.  For boys and girls ages 4-17 of every talent level. Professional coaches. No parent coaches. No politics. Scholarships are available.

FREE Greenwich Stars Spring Basketball Tryouts are on: January 14, 15, 16 at Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT).  For boys and girls ages 6-16 from all towns.

There are 2 Options for Spring Basketball with the Greenwich Stars (see below). We have teams that fit busy schedules in the Spring (see the below options):

** Spring AAU Tournament Basketball Team:  Games are on Saturdays/Sunday in the Spring. Local Games. Little Traveling. 2 Practices a week. Tournaments are on 1/2 the Spring weekends – leaving you time to do other activities on many Spring weekends. Your child can play in the famous Spooky Nook Tournament (at the world’s largest indoor sports facility). Your child will also have the opportunity to play in the Zero Gravity National Basketball Championships in Boston. Note: The Greenwich Stars are 3 Time Winners of the Zero Gravity National Basketball Championships.

** Spring Travel Team: Games are on Fridays – not Saturdays/Sundays. No Traveling. 1 practice a week. Games are on Fridays at Carmel Academy in Greenwich vs other teams in the region. The Friday game schedule leaves the weekends free for other activities.

SPRING Basketball Season: March 25 – June 9. The Greenwich Stars have 2 great locations: Carmel Academy (Greenwich, CT) and The Solomon Schechter School (Hartsdale, NY). The Greenwich Stars’ players are from 38 towns in New York and Connecticut and are the largest and most successful basketball organization in the region.

Professional Coaches: No Parent Coaches. No Politics.
